Material Safety Data Sheet Statement
The requirements for chemical manufacturers and importers to provide material safety data sheets
(MSDS) to their customers are found in the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration's
Hazard Communication Rule (29 C.F.R. Section 1910.1200). The products we manufacture and sell
qualify as an "article" under that rule, and therefore are exempt from MSDS requirements.
Outlined below is a summary of the relevant sections.
1910.1200(b)(6)(v)(c) Hazard communication.
"Article" means a manufactured item other than a fluid or particle: (i) which is formed to a
specific shape or design during manufacture; (ii) which has end use function(s) dependent in whole
or in part upon its shape or design during end use; and (iii) which under normal conditions of use
does not release more than very small quantities, e.g., minute or trace amounts of a hazardous
chemical (as determined under paragraph (d) of this section), and does not pose a physical hazard
or health risk to employees.
This covers in general our products. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be of
service.
